I love working one-on-one with students because of the individualized focus that the format allows. As a professional with over 25 years of performing experience and over 15 years of teaching experience, I customize lessons to suit each student's ability, interests and needs. As a result, lessons are more meaningful, more impactful and more enjoyable! I love being able to help students of many ages and ability levels achieve their goals because at the end of the day, we are all people on a musical journey.
It doesn't matter if you're in middle school or in retirement, behind the piano or on the saxophone. Your private lessons are just one part of the process of immersing yourself in the world of music. Some of my students take on additional instruments, broaden their knowledge of musical styles and history, or write their own music. I love seeing my students' worlds expand.
