It's March 2019 and finally I can announce that I am the proud owner of a new beautiful Buffet bass clarinet. I began playing the bass clarinet in 2006 and later in the year I had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall, which was an incredible experience. I wrote new music for the instrument and composers around me wrote new music for me to play as well. I used it in jazz jam sessions and recorded clarinet choir arrangements, overdubbing all of the parts. Then in the ensuing years I was without an instrument, but it was worth the wait for this beauty! Here is a picture of me trying out instruments:
